Journalism assignment

"Images get 50% more Likes than text posts, and links that are posted on the wall with a thumbnail image in the preview get 65% more Likes and 50% more comments than posts that are sans thumbnail."

I found this to be very interesting in this article because it definitely shows what people are looking for when using Facebook. If you don't know what your audience is looking for, you're dead in the water.

This article was helpful discussing the uses that Facebook provides for users. I like how the article said that the Newsfeed on Facebook is in fact like a newspaper keeping up with friends and even networks, and the news comes to you.

This particular article was in my opinion repetitive and blended in the previous aarticles posted above. I did like how it stated Facebook gives more than 140 characters to tell a story, unlike Twitter who limits the posts submitted. I enjoyed the section on social story telling, because it is essential that journalism in this day and age is more personal than ever before.
